School Field Trips at the Zoo in Jefferson, TX

Pricing:

Groups of 20-50 students: $8 per child and $10 per adult
Groups of 51-80 students: $7 per child and $10 per adult
Groups of 81 students or more: $6 per child and $10 per adult

*Brown sack of feed and a parakeet feeding stick is included for each child.
*Our covered trailer will be available for use if your group would like to use it.

Our rates are based on the number of students in attendance- not including teachers or parents.

You must reserve your group at least 7 days ahead of time by filling out the inquiry below or giving us a call at 903-665-4093.

What To Expect:

Your students will be able to see and interact with a variety of exotic animals in their natural habitats! We can accommodate school buses, but we also offer our personal covered trailer for your group to use. The students will be able to toss food onto the ground to get an up-close view of our animals, as well as personally interact with a variety of animals in our Walk Thru Zoo and Petting Zoo. They will get to enjoy our petting zoo critters up close by going into the pen with them and interact with tortoises weighing over 100 lbs!

Please bring a sack lunch and enjoy our large shaded pavilion with tables in view of the walk through zoo, petting zoo, gift shop, and tortoise pen.

There are provided activities for you to use before, during, and after your trip. We encourage you to go over the Our Animals page with your students before you arrive, so they know what they are looking for as they go through. There is a word search, scavenger hunt, and writing prompts available for download below.
