Discover Texas Tortoise Up Close with an Unforgettable Wildlife Experience in Jefferson!
Tortoise Encounter –limited spots – If you love tortoises, we have a treat for you. Enjoy a 15-minute encounter with tortoise that are over 100 pounds! You can feed and pet the tortoises and take numerous photos. Your guide will share fun facts about the tortoise. The experience is open to individuals aged 5 and above. If your child is uncomfortable around animals, this may not be the suitable activity for them. The cost is an additional $10 per person on top of the general admission fee. Each ticket will come with 4 leaves of lettuce. Observers are welcome to watch from a designated area with the price of general admission.
